| 고후 3:1 | 우리가 다시 우리 자신을 추천하기 시작하겠느냐? 혹은 우리가 다른 사람들처럼 너희에게 추천하는 서신을 보내거나 너희로부터 추천하는 편지를 받을 필요가 있겠느냐? | | Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

| 고후 3:2 | 너희는 우리 마음에 쓰여 있는 우리의 서신으로 모든 사람이 알고 있고 읽고 있는 서신이니라. | | Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

| 고후 3:3 | 너희는 우리의 사역을 통해 그리스도의 서신으로 분명히 드러났는데 그것은 잉크로 쓴 것이 아니요, 살아 계신 하나님의 영으로 쓴 것이며 돌판에 쓴 것이 아니요. 육신의 마음 판에 쓴 것이라. | | Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

| 고후 3:4 | 우리가 그리스도를 통해 하나님을 향하여 이 같은 확신을 가지고 있으나 | | And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

| 고후 3:5 | 우리는 어떤 일이 우리 자신에게서 난 것으로 생각할 만큼 스스로 능력이 있지 아니하며 우리의 능력은 하나님에게서 나느니라. | | Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

| 고후 3:6 | 그분께서 또한 우리를 새 상속 언약의 유능한 사역자로 삼으시되 글자의 사역자가 아닌 영의 사역자로 삼으셨나니 이는 글자는 죽이되 영은 생명을 주기 때문이라. | | Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

| 고후 3:7 | 그러나 돌들에 써서 새긴 사망의 직무에도 영광이 있어서 이스라엘 자손들이 모세의 얼굴의 영광 곧 없어질 영광으로 인해 그의 얼굴을 똑바로 쳐다볼 수 없었거든 | | But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

| 고후 3:8 | 하물며 영의 직무에는 더욱 영광이 있지 아니하겠느냐? | | How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

| 고후 3:9 | 정죄의 직무도 영광이 되거든 의의 직무는 영광이 더욱더 뛰어나니라. | | For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

| 고후 3:10 | 영광스럽게 된 것조차 이 점에서 영광을 갖지 못한 것은 더 뛰어난 영광으로 인함이라. | | For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

| 고후 3:11 | 없어진 것에도 영광이 있었거든 남아 있는 것에는 더욱더 영광이 있느니라. | | For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

| 고후 3:12 | 그런즉 우리에게 이러한 소망이 있으므로 우리는 매우 분명한 말을 사용하며 | | Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

| 고후 3:13 | 이스라엘 자손들이 이미 사라진 것의 마지막을 똑바로 볼 수 없게 하려고 모세가 자기 얼굴을 베일로 가린 것같이 하지 아니하노라. | | And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

| 고후 3:14 | 그러나 그들의 마음이 가려졌으니 이는 이날까지 옛 상속 언약의 말씀을 읽을 때에 바로 그 베일이 벗겨지지 않은 채 남아 있기 때문이라. 그 베일은 그리스도 안에서 없어졌으나 | | But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

| 고후 3:15 | 이날까지도 그들이 모세의 글을 읽을 때에 그 베일이 그들의 마음을 덮고 있도다. | | But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

| 고후 3:16 | 그럼에도 불구하고 그들의 마음이 주께로 돌아서면 그 베일이 벗겨지리라. | | Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
|
| 고후 3:17 | 그런데 주께서는 그 영이시니 주의 영께서 계신 곳, 거기에는 해방의 자유가 있느니라. | | Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
|
| 고후 3:18 | 그러나 우리는 다 가리지 않은 얼굴로 거울을 보는 것같이 주의 영광을 바라보며 같은 형상으로 변화되어 영광에서 영광에 이르렀나니 이것은 곧 주의 영으로 말미암은 것이니라. | | But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
